opinions aside, i think if you had a knowledge of their background, you’d see they wern’t “going for a grungy, punk kind of style” . they are a punk rock band with a heavy rock influence, really. not having a go…

Hmmmm i’m not sure on this the first two albums where equally hyped, and for all it’s visual delights i just couldnt get into either the self titled debut or ‘Demon Days’. Gorillaz remind of a Stereophonics or even Feeder in that they have good singles but have lackluster albums. I do like the idea behind this albumm so i might give it a spin, third time lucky? maybe!
